Raymond Vacation Rental cottage

ENJOY SPRING/SUMMER IN NEW ENGLAND (beginning May 2): Our special vacation home, located only five to ten minutes off Rt. 101 in a very quiet resort community, is a lovely free-standing "tree home" cottage, attractively furnished, with an expansive outdoor deck that includes a private hot tub. The property is surrounded by 180 acres of woods and meadows -- so tranquil -- and is actually part of a resort that is presently very minimally developed, but operational. There is a lakefront beach and dock, rental canoes for use on the on-site Scribner River and on Onway Lake, common rec house, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, etc... and deer are frequent visitors in the community. As an added bonus, there's even a typically "whispering" stream down an embankment under the cottage deck where the young ones can look for frogs!

The cottage consists of a cozy living room, full kitchen, bedroom, and large full bath on the first floor, as well as an apartment-sized washer/dryer off the bathroom. There is a loft above, which contains two twin beds and other bedroom furnishings. Down the spiral staircase is a small room with a futon and a twin bunk above. There is a propane gas log fireplace/blower and wall-mounted heater/air-conditioner in the living room for your comfort, as well as electric thermostats in the sleeping areas.

This special rental property, which comfortably sleeps six, is priced at $850/wk (May 2 - June 13) and $975/wk (June 14 - Labor Day), with 10% off the price of subsequent weeks. All linens are provided. A security deposit and a cleaning fee (unless you choose to carefully clean yourself) will be charged.

We expect that our renters will treat the property as they would their own prized possession. Smoking inside is not allowed. A clean family cat or well-trained dog is a possibility. We really don't want to consider overcrowding the premises, so please honestly let us know the number of individuals in your party. Thank you for your interest!

Located only 20 minutes from Manchester airport, in Raymond, NH, our cottage is roughly situated (triangularly) between both city and mountains and mountains and ocean. Quaintly restored Portsmouth, with its rich maritime history, is within a 40 minute drive, as is the state's capitol, Concord.

The lovely oceanside community of Rye Beach is only 35 minutes away, and Hampton Beach, with its amusements, is located another 5 minutes from there.

7-night min. during summer season (June 15 - Labor Day); possible 3-night min., otherwise.

Full refund, less $100 admin. fee, will be made if canceled at least 30 days prior to intended arrival.

50% of rental fee

$75 cleaning fee, unless rentor returns the cottage in "rental ready" condition, including all dishes, pots and pans, and linens washed, dried, and carefully put away.

All rules and regulations of the community, including those concerning the use of pool, beach, clubhouse, and rental canoes/equipment must be followed by all members of the rental party.
