Vacation Rental Description

Luxury Designer Penthouse in Selwo Hills II. Located within the new golden mile of the Costa del Sol. Just outside Marbella, this apartment is a short drive from Laguna Village and a short walk away from Selwo Safari Park - an attraction where ancient mysteries of Africa mingle with the proud history of this Andalucian region of Spain. This penthouse has three terraces two bedrooms/bathrooms and can comfortably cater for six persons. Selwo Hills II is close to both Malaga and Gibraltar International Airports.

The apartment has been tastefully furnished in a unique contemporary style. It has a large lounge/dining room, fully fitted kitchen with cookware and tableware. There are two bedrooms and bathrooms. The master suite has a king bed, large bath, twin hand-wash unit and a separate shower cubicle. Guest room has two single beds served by the guest bathroom offering a shower cubicle.

The apartment may be heated in winter and is easily cooled during the hot summer months. On lazy days you can watch a variety of satellite channels, listen to music or watch films on the DVD. Alternatively you may choose to take a stroll downstairs to ‘cool-off’ in the communal pool, having built up steam in the sauna.
The penthouse offers three private balconies. The main balcony is large and offers views of the communal gardens, and pool.

What should you do?

There are beautiful cities, cities where the cuisine is an art in itself, others where the natives welcome you with open arms, hundreds that rest on the Mediterranean shores and there are cities that are blessed with all of these characteristics and where, to top it all off, you can have a ball. Marbella and Estepona, both a short drive away, are these types of cities. Why not see for yourself!

Quiet Nights

If it is a quiet night out you are looking for you can stroll down to local restaurants or visit neighbouring Marbella or Estepona town and enjoying the first drink of the evening chatting with friends. Both cities have a variety of bars to offer, many of which are open till the early hours of the morning. In the old section of Marbella town you'll find The Tavern, an English-style pub where the beer is the star attraction; downtown you'll find Gauguin, if you like hot rhythms and cool drinks, or Frank´s Corner if you prefer playing pool and having a beer with some of the many Brits who hang out here. Do you feel like catching a movie? In Gran Marbella Cinema there are seven theatres to choose from.

Perhaps Dancing is your key to unwinding?

The true nightlife scene is at Puerto Banús, so drop everything, throw on your party glad rags, put on your dancing shoes and step out to have fun! The streets around the piers are full of terraces, bars, and pubs for every taste and style. For lovers of Spanish pop rock, El Boss in Marbella is a great choice its fun atmosphere makes it a perfect place for having the first drinks of the evening.
Although you may not be one of the thousands of people who love Irish taverns, O´Gradys might still be what you're looking for. Have a dark or light Guinness; it's just a question of taste. Are you getting into the spirit of things? Good, then now you're ready to check out La Comedia; order a mixed drink at the bar and take the first few dance steps of the night to the rhythm of the latest hits. And, in the Plaza del Puerto — right down the stairs you'll find the dance club Scream for those who want to party till dawn: hip hop, techno, dance, trance and all the latest "avant-garde" beats.

Looking for something Different- A little flutter perhaps??

Have you ever played French Roulette? Don't miss the opportunity to do it in the wonderful Casino, where fun is a sure bet, but just don't spend too much, because the night is still young and once the clock strikes twelve, the Flamenco show begins in the Tablao Ana María in Marbella.

If Flamenco is not your thing and you're more into other types of music and other types of fun spend an unforgettable night in the venue said to be the best dance club on the Costa del Sol, run by the famous Olivia Valere. In this dance palace you'll see a bunch of famous faces from the tabloid world mainly beautiful people, and a luxurious atmosphere. It is close to the water's edge you'll find another hot dance club, Oh! Marbella, that offers live shows and different DJs every weekend, so you can never get bored with the dancing. The place fills with night owls, dancing, and international music until the early morning. Also, in the Milla de Oro (Golden Mile) there is quite a bit of nightlife; here you'll find Key Boite, where the champagne and cava are the official drinks.

At a loss as to what to do with the Children?

The little ones also need to have fun, and for this purpose you'll find places such as Funny Beach in Marbella, where they can practice water sports, jump and bounce on huge rubber beds and in ball-filled pools, swing on swings, and slide down the slides.
Also, surprise them by talking them to the Puerto Banús Acuario (Aquarium), where they can have their first underwater baptism, surrounded by the harmless and friendly ray-fish.
You'll enjoy an unforgettable day in the Estepona Natural Park, Selwo. This is just a short walk away and therefore a must! Let them delight in this small safari where they'll come close to animals they've only seen in zoos and on TV: lions, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, and colorful birds, all in an enviable natural environment. Another option is to spend the morning together watching the entertainment in the Escuela de Arte Ecuestre de la Costa del Sol (Sun Coast Equestrian School).

Visit the Museo del Bonsái (Bonsai Museum) with them, where the smallest olive trees in the world are on display, or let them try their hands at the art world in the Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo (Museum of Contemporary Spanish Etchings), and later take them for a walk along the Paseo Marítimo (waterfront promenade). Here you can treat them to an ice cream in the Milla de Oro (Golden Mile).

Required Stay

Cancellation Policy

All holidays must be paid up (including returnable deposit) at least one month before visit.

Reservations less than twenty-eight (28) days in length require a fourteen (14) day cancellation or change notice. Cancellations and changes that are made more than fourteen (14) days prior to the check-in date will result in a refund of paymentless a £40 cancellation fee. Cancellations and changes that are made within fourteen (14) days of the check-in date will forfeit £150 and a £40 cancellation fee. Monthly reservations of twenty-eight (28) days or longer require a one hundred twenty (120) day cancellation or change notice. Cancellations and changes that are made more than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the check-in date will result in the refund of paymentless a £40 cancellation fee. Cancellations and changes that are made within one hundred twenty (120) days of the check-in date forfeit £400 and a £40 cancellation fee.

Upon check-in, guests are required to confirm departure dates. Should a guest decide to leave earlier, the guest may be charged an early departure fee. Reservations that are considered “No Shows” will result in full forfeiture of the advance deposit and fees and/or the security deposit depending on the length of the reservation.

Deposits

For reservations less than twenty-eight (28) days in length an advance deposit of £200 is required at the time of booking. The advance payment will be applied toward the total rent due. Full payment is due one month before arrival. Monthly reservations of twenty-eight (28) days or longer require a reservation advanced deposit of £400 due at the time of booking. Payment for each monthly period is due in full monthly advanced payments. Travellers cheques, money orders, cash will be accepted for payments.

Other Fees

Returnable deposit
A returnable deposit of £200 is required to secure all bookings less than 28 days. If the rental period is greater than 28 days the deposit amount required is £400. The returnable deposit is repaid a week after vacating the apartment. Renters will be notified of any breakages/damage, the cost of which will be deducted from the deposit.

Cancellation Fee
A cancellation fee of £40 is charged for any cancelled booking

Other Policies

Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in time will begin after 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is at 10:00 a.m. early check-in/ late check-out may be available upon request depending upon availability. Late check-outs will incur additional charges.

Falsified Reservations
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to full forfeiture of advance deposit or security deposit payment(s), and the party will not be permitted to check in. If the party has already checked in, occupants may be required to vacate the property immediately with full forfeiture of all reservation payments.

Non-Smoking Accommodations
Smoking is not permitted at the apartment.

Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted at the apartment.

Minimum Reservation Requirements
Minimum reservation of one week.


Occupancy Requirements
The maximum number of guests is limited to 6 persons. If the maximum occupancy is exceeded, the guests may be asked to vacate the property and will be subject to forfeiture of advance deposit and reservation payment(s).

Housekeeping
Reservation rates include a full housekeeping departure clean. Additional housekeeping services may be available for purchase upon check-in. We ask that all towels and linens remain at the property at all times. We suggest that guests bring personal beach towels for use outside of the rental unit.

Reservation Payment Requirements
All outstanding balances are due one month before check-in. Reservation payments, with proper identification, may be made in the form of travellers cheques, money orders, bank draft, cash.

Parking
One parking space is available for your use during your stay at the apartment. This will be notified at check-in.
