Snorkel on the reefs right in front of the resort. One of the few condo's with a large Italian tiled lanai overlooking the ocean and a new Lafuma lounge chair to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. You have a front row seat to watch the whales and spinner dolphins at our oceanfront resort. Our guests have gone swimming with the dolphins right in front of Alii Villas.
Well located in a popular resort close to the center of town, and tastefully renovated with Italian floor tile, granite counter tops, contemporary art work, leather sectional sofa, maple kitchen cabinets, two queen beds both with new memory foam mattresses, two flat screen T.V's with two DVD players, custom bamboo bath robes, stereo, and five appliances (including in suite washer/dryer and new fridge~2009).

We even provide Hawaiian music/movies, a DVD tour of the Big Island, guidebooks and plenty of cultural information.
We are located in the sought after building C near both the ocean and pool. Wonderful solar heated pool is light up at night, and decorated with quality brown Jordan Brown furnishings.
Alii Villas, one of the few true oceanfront properties in Kailua-Kona, is a popular, well maintained resort located on scenic Alii Drive, with nothing between it and the ocean except palm trees and lush gardens. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the center of town and 11 miles from airport. Magic sands beach is only minutes away. A little further is Kahalu’s beach park, a renowned snorkeling/surfing that is frequented by large sea turtles.
Best of all, the climate in Kona is sunny all year, daytime temperatures ranging from 81 to 86.

Area Description
For more specific information please ask us for our personal recommendations list.
Kona is known for its year round sunny weather daily temperatures ranging from 81 to 86 degrees and charming town that is inviting to walk through day and night. The cost of restaurants and shopping is generally surprisingly less than other Islands in Hawaii. There are also many free activities offered.
With abundant marine and wildlife, Kona remains unspoiled and has much diversity to explore. Activities include Catamaran rides, golf, wildlife viewing, tennis, diving, snorkeling, surfing, para-sailing, sport fishing, beaches, tropical garden tours, real submarine tours, hiking, biking, horseback riding, local outdoor markets, world class shopping, sunset dinner cruises, fabulous restaurants, cinemas, museums, boating, sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing, helicopter tours, volcanic exploration, dolphin shows, kayaking, and finding sea turtles on Kealakekua Bay.
Puuhonau O Honaunau National Historic Park, or the City of Refuge (highly recommended) gives you the feel for the former way of life in a partially restored 16th century village. You will see thatched huts, canoes, idols, and a temple that has the bones of several Hawaiian chiefs. Set on a peaceful white sand beach. Two Step, nicknamed such because of the land formation underwater, is right in this area, about a hundred yards north of the City of Refuge. It's another fantastic place for either snorkeling or diving.
Kaahaluu Beach Park has got to be one of the best snorkeling places in the world. One of the things that makes it good, in addition to the variety of fish you will see, is the fact that it is a really safe place to snorkel. It is good for children, older people, or those who can't swim. Traditional Hawaiian Luaus are offered at several locations, and well worth the cost. Visit the Hilton Waikoloa village for a full day trip where you can swim with dolphins, visit galleries, gardens Free transport to galleries, dolphin quest, restaurants and shops. The Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii has a number of ongoing experiments and applications of ocean technology, all very interesting. The observatory and Volcano attract worldwide tourism. The Big Island has the tallest mountain in the world (measured from sea level).
Hapuna Beach is a bit of a drive (30 min) but probably as close to a "perfect" beach as you'll find in the state with fine, golden white sand maybe half a mile long and a couple hundred feet wide. It's a fine place for building sand castles and boogie boarding. Conde Nast Traveler magazine has declared this the best beach in the nation. The beach is about a half an hour's drive north of Kailua-Kona.
